Pine Shelter Farm is proud to announce the Minnesota Holstein Field Day scheduled for Friday, August 12, 2011 at our farm in Pine Island, MN. Located in beautiful south eastern Minnesota, Pine Shelter is home to many excellent cows. Pine-Shelter Lucina Fargo EX-95, and her granddaughter Pine Shelter Cheyenne EX-95 were both World Dairy Expo Champions. Cheyenne will be on display at an impressive 12 years of age!
Starting at 11:00 a.m. the day will be filled with a judging contest, a discussion on Cow Comfort and tours of one of Minnesota’s largest, and oldest registered Holstein establishments. The day will also include junior activities, games, door prizes and a complimentary lunch will be provided. Join us as we showcase 92 years of breeding registered Holsteins and 157 years in production agriculture.
